My favourite podcast episode to record this year was episode 227, titled “How to calculate your ROI on learning to grow your business”. At the time, I was inspired to record it based on some experiences with my clients and with my kids, but in truth it’s also because I realised something about myself:
If I’m not learning something new, I get bored quickly and start to feel as though I’m not progressing. I feel pretty certain that, when we don’t learn new things, we do end up going backwards: because the world around us is constantly changing, so we need to change how we operate just to keep pace, let alone move forwards!
This year, I’ve invested in learning from two different coaches for myself, I also invested in education and upskilling for my team.
And, of course, I read lots of books.
So, given this is my post-Christmas podcast episode, my final episode for this year and the one where I usually share my holiday reading inspo list with you, I thought I’d share the key learnings I took from my top 5 business-related books that I read this year.
