- Errors saying they don’t have a Business Manager or Facebook page or Insta profile when they do, or
- Facebook Shop saying it’s connected to a personal account instead of a Business Manager, or
- The Facebook App becoming disconnected from their Shopify store.

Hey Catherine, we have been unable to connect our Shopify account to Facebook – it keeps on advising that we need to update our Facebook app? When we try to connect from Facebook to SHopify it advises that this option is no longer available outside of the USA? We be happy to look into a paid assistance for this one – thank you

Is there a way i can connect the shopify store to my business partners personal fb page instead?
Depending on what you sell, your website may actually not pass Facebook’s T&C’s. I’d recommend reading up on those just to be sure. Sometimes they definitely make a mistake though (we had one client who sold horse riding pants, but any product shots that featured the model with a horse, got flagged in Facebook’s system for ‘selling livestock’.
You do need to connect the same account that you want to use for advertising. If you get really stuck, we may be able to offer you a one-off paid consulting session to help you sort it out. It can definitely be tricky that’s for sure!
